Dear Rocky Mountain Families,

We have a fun week ahead at RME and look forward to seeing you at Family Game Night, Thanksgiving Lunch, and the Choir Concert! Please take a moment to review a few important updates below.

Ms. Hoffert’s Music Corner

3rd-5th Grade Choir Concert - Remember that we have our annual fall choir concert coming up on Thursday, November 20th. There is an in-school performance for students and staff as well as an after school performance at 5pm for friends and family. Can't wait to see you there! Fundraising Events

Thank you so much for your incredible support of Rocky Mountain Elementary! Because of your generosity, enthusiasm, and encouragement, we were able to raise:

  • $1,076.25  from our school's Pumpkin Run
  • $357.00 from our Skate City Fundraiser

Your involvement has made these events a huge success. We are truly grateful for the strong community spirit that makes our school such a special place. Thank you again for helping us reach (and celebrate!) this wonderful achievement. We couldn’t have done it without you!


 

Holiday Gift Shop Is Coming! 

Get ready!  Our Holiday Gift Shop is coming soon, and it’s the perfect place for your students to find special surprises for family, friends, teachers—even your pets!


You students get to pick out gifts all by themselves—and keep them a secret until the holidays! It’s a great way to learn about giving, budgeting, and spreading cheer.


The shop will be open during school hours on Dec. 16th, 17th, and 18th.  An information packet is in your students Friday Folder. 

 

School Choice

The Adams 12 School Choice window for the 2026-2027 school year opens December 1, 2025. The deadline for priority consideration is January 2, 2026. More information can be found here (English, Spanish).

 

Student & Family Support Resources

If a student or family has an urgent need for items such as Food, hygiene products, socks, underwear, school supplies, or similar essentials, please reach out directly to our Family Outreach Liaison - Lupe Lopez, 720-972-3500Please don’t hesitate to reach out—support is available.

  • Operation Freebird Saturday November 22 at Mountain State Toyota 201 W 70th Ave Denver, CO 80221 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Food boxes will be available while supplies last. Must be present to receive Food items. There will also be Dental Screenings, Flu Shots, Mental Health Resources, Veteran Services, Housing and Food Assistance and other resources will be available.
  • I have Adult Winter coats, sweaters and some clothes for Men and Women. If you need them PLEASE call or email me and I'll get them to you. The cold weather is coming and I want to make sure we all have warm clothing and coats.
  • Colorado Rockies vs Arizona Diamondbacks Fundraiser game May 16, 2026 come in and get a flyer to purchase your tickets now or go to PayForIt.net and pay through there. Please let me know if you do so I can keep track.
