Free School Supplies at RME's Back to School Night!

Dear Rocky Mountain Families,

We hope you and your families are enjoying a healthy, safe and sunny summer!

We have exciting news to share with you all!

At Back to School Night, we will be providing your child with a backpack filled with school supply essentials, made possible by Office Depot. As part of their annual back-to-school program, Start Proud!®  a program created to help foster brighter beginnings for schools to give students, parents and teachers the supplies they need to start the year with confidence.

This school year, Adams 12 was selected, and Rocky Mountain Elementary has been identified as the 2022 Start Proud! school for Westminster!

It is a thrill and an honor for Rocky Mountain to be selected as 1 of 18 beneficiary schools of Office Depot.

As a Start Proud! school, each and every student at Rocky Mountain will receive a high-quality backpack filled with common elementary school student supplies. These supplies include (subject to minor changes): 1 Wired Notebook, 4 Composition Workbooks, 4 Folders, #2 Pencils, Highlighters, Eraser Caps, Crayons, Colored Markers, Pourable Glue, Glue Sticks, Pencil Sharpeners, Wood Ruler, and Index Cards.

Office Depot will also be providing our school with resources to help ensure your child has a few additional supplies that may not have been in the backpacks! You do not need to buy any school supplies this year!

Students will receive their backpacks and supplies at Back to School Night on Monday, 8/15 from 4pm-6pm. Office Depot will host a special assembly to distribute the backs and welcome our students and teachers back-to-school at Rocky Mountain. Please join us for music and food at 4pm and we will present our supplies to students at 4:30! Students can then visit their teacher/classroom after the presentation!

Please do not purchase a backpack or supplies!

We could not be more thankful for their partnership and look forward to welcoming your child(ren) back for the 2022-2023 school year helping them feel confident, prepared, and proud!
