Classwork and Attendance

Just a friendly reminder that daily attendance at school leads to consistant learning, higher self-esteem and confidence and a stronger connection to friends and staff.  We strongly encourage every student to attend school every day.

Expectations in fifth grade are that each student shows respect for peers, staff and most importantly, for themselves.  We ask that students be at school on time, complete work to the best of their ability, be an advocate for themselves if they need help, complete homework and turn it in the next day, and allow themselves and other grace for times of struggle.

Students are asked to read nightly for 50 minutes, complete math homework 2-4 times a week and practice their multiplication facts nightly for 5-10 minutes.

Please contact your child's teacher if you have any questions.
